How this site makes money
Updated October 2026
Plain map, no fine print. TruckVerified earns four ways, and every one of them is visible on the page where it happens:
- Dispatch fees. Our actual business: a percentage of gross on loads we dispatch, published in full on the fees page.
- Factoring referrals. When you request a quote, we pass your details to our factoring partner, RTS Financial, and we may be paid for the referral. RTS quotes you directly; the referral never changes your rate, and comparing their quote against anyone else's is exactly what we tell you to do.
- Vertical Identity (DOT drug & alcohol testing consortium). Links marked as partner links, routed through /go/, may pay us a referral fee when a carrier enrolls. The price you pay is Vertical Identity's published price either way. Drug testing offers on this site are for CDL carriers only, because non-CDL operations are not under DOT testing rules, and we say so wherever the offer appears.
- TruckClub (breakdown protection plans). Same deal: marked referral links, a possible fee to us, no change to your price. TruckClub plans are extended-protection products, not insurance, and we never describe them otherwise.
The rules we hold these relationships to
- The reader's question gets answered before any offer appears, including who a product does not fit.
- Partner prices are quoted with the date we checked them and a link to the partner's own page.
- No invented reviews, savings claims or success stories, for partners or for ourselves.
- Every partner link carries a disclosure beside it and is marked sponsored to search engines.
